Privacy Policy

This policy covers the apps and games published by DigiHall Ltd (company number 15724005, registered in England and Wales), currently Proofley, RentAssist, JobKit and Bujitz (together, "the Apps"), including any we release in future unless they come with their own policy, and this website, digihall.co.uk. We are the data controller for the limited personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@digihall.co.uk.

• The Apps don't require an account, and we don't run servers that receive or store what you put into them.
• There is no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking in the Apps.
• This website sets Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them; without consent, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode.
• The only personal data we receive directly is what you choose to send us, for example through the contact form or by email.

Proofley records your device's location, the time, and any photographs and notes you add only at the moment you choose to capture a proof. It does not track your location in the background.

Your captures are stored on the device that recorded them. Nothing is uploaded to us. If you export or share a PDF report, you decide where it goes, and the recipient will see the location, photos and details it contains.

RentAssist stores the property, tenant, payment, maintenance and compliance details you enter on your devices, and schedules its deadline reminders as notifications on the device itself. If you turn on iCloud sync or backup, that data is stored in your own iCloud account, which is operated by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to it.

Because tenant details are personal data about other people, you are responsible for handling them lawfully as a landlord. RentAssist helps by keeping that information on your own devices rather than on a third-party server.

JobKit stores the business, client, site, job, worker, quote and invoice details you enter, and any photos you take or add to a job, on your devices. Invoice reminders are optional notifications scheduled on the device itself. If you turn on backup or syncing, that data is stored in your own iCloud account, which is operated by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to it.

When you email an invoice or send a task to your crew, it goes from your own email account to the people you choose. Because client and worker details are personal data about other people, you are responsible for handling them lawfully. JobKit helps by keeping that information on your own devices rather than on a third-party server.

Bujitz stores the accounts, transactions, envelopes and budgets you enter on your devices, and schedules its daily alert and bill reminders as notifications on the device itself. Syncing through your own iCloud account is on by default and can be changed on each device: you can turn it off, or keep a backup in your iCloud instead. Either way the data is stored in your own iCloud account, which is operated by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to it.

If you export your transactions as a CSV file, you decide where it goes.

Proofley Pro, RentAssist Pro, JobKit Pro and Bujitz Pro are sold as subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment. We never see your card details, name or Apple ID, only confirmation that a subscription is active.

Apple may give us aggregated, non-identifying information such as download numbers and, if you have opted in to share it with developers, crash reports. Apple's handling of your data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you pick and your message. We use it only to reply to you. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and then delete it.

The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google, under Google's privacy policy and terms of service.

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this website, such as which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, and the general location (country or city), device and browser they use. Google Analytics doesn't log or store IP addresses, and we don't use it for advertising: ad storage, ad personalisation and Google signals are switched off.

The Google Analytics script loads on every page, but it sets no cookies until you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner. Until then, or if you reject, it only sends Google basic cookieless signals (for example, that a page was viewed), with no identifier that links one visit to another. Google processes this data on our behalf and may do so outside the UK, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services. We keep analytics data for 14 months.

What's stored on your device:

• _ga and _ga_<ID>: Google Analytics cookies that distinguish visitors and sessions. Set only if you accept; they expire after 2 years.
• digihall-consent: remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again (local storage, stays on your device).
• digihall-theme: remembers your light or dark theme choice (local storage, stays on your device).

You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings (also in the footer of every page). Withdrawing consent deletes the Google Analytics cookies from this site.

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Our apps and games are not aimed at children. None of them collect personal data from anyone who uses them, so no data is collected from children either. If a child contacts us through this website, we'll use their message only to reply, and delete it on request.

If our Apps or this website change how they handle data, we'll update this policy and the "last updated" date at the top of the page.
