Proofley
Capture GPS-verified proof you were on the job site, with up to five photos and a PDF certificate for your client.
About Proofley
Proofley lets contractors, landlords, property managers, inspectors and field crews prove they were on the job site in seconds, whether it's a routine visit, an inspection, a punch list or a security deposit dispute. Every capture records a GPS fix with its real accuracy, a timestamp, up to five photographs and your observations, then becomes a certificate you can send to a client. It runs on iPhone and iPad, needs no account, and only records your location when you choose to capture a proof.
Features
Proof in seconds
Capture a GPS fix with its real accuracy, add up to five photographs and your observations, and keep a timeline of every visit.
A certificate, not a screenshot
Each capture becomes a document: the map and coordinates up top, your job site photos numbered beneath, and a full capture record with the time in your own zone and in UTC. Long notes run across as many pages as they need.
Accuracy you can stand behind
Proofley shows the real accuracy of every fix and refuses to certify a capture when the signal is too weak to mean anything, and tells you why.
Private by design
No account and no background tracking. Location is only recorded when you capture, and your captures stay on the device that recorded them.
Pricing
Free to capture and read reports, and your first certificate is free to export and share. Proofley Pro unlocks PDF export and sharing for every report, monthly or annual, with a 7-day free trial and one subscription covering iPhone and iPad.
Questions
Does Proofley track my location in the background?
No. Proofley only records your location at the moment you choose to capture a proof. There is no background tracking or hidden monitoring.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for, and your captures stay on the device that recorded them.
What happens if the GPS signal is weak?
Proofley shows the real accuracy of every fix and won't certify a capture when the signal is too weak to be meaningful. It tells you why rather than quietly recording a guess.
Which time zone do reports use?
Both. Every capture time is shown in your own time zone and in UTC, so a report reads the same wherever it's opened.
Is Proofley free?
Capturing is unlimited and free, and you can read every finished report in the app. Your first certificate is free to export and share as a PDF, so you can send a real one to a client before you pay. Proofley Pro unlocks exporting and sharing every report, on a monthly or annual plan with a 7-day free trial. One subscription covers both iPhone and iPad, and you can cancel any time.
